Archangel Zadkiel is the angel of truth, freedom, benevolence and mercy. The meaning of his name is “Righteousness of God,” and he teaches mortals about everything that is virtuous. He becomes a warrior on behalf of those with a pure heart, and battles those who try to repress them.
Truth and Freedom: No doubt you’ve heard the expression, “The truth will set you free.” Zadkiel influences people with their truth, to set them free. He reveals personal secrets that lead to life-changing revelations to shape the course of a person’s destiny.
Benevolence: As the angel of benevolence, Zadkiel brings blessings of comfort to those who need it. To attract Zadkiel’s attention, show compassion to someone else. By blessing them with your benevolence, you too can receive his blessings. Who is the person who needs your compassion? Just follow your heart, and you will know.
Mercy: As the angel of mercy, Zadkiel grants mercy on those who seek God’s help when they are under great stress. Maybe you have a loved one who is gravely ill, or you have an issue at work that you can’t seem to resolve, or finances are a problem in your life. Archangel Zadkiel encourages you to ask God for mercy, and to keep asking God for His help. He also bestows the strength to keep praying and to not lose faith in what you are hoping for. Zadkiel gives you faith to keep praying for God’s mercy, so he is like an ambassador to God on your behalf.
